EMISIA visited Applus+ IDIADA testing facilities during 13-14 September, 2018, near Barcelona, Spain.
The visit was related to the testing procedures of the Project "Study to prepare the adaptation to technical progress of EU requirements on silencing systems containing acoustically absorbing fibrous materials for M- and N-category vehicles", under the sponsorship of the European Commission.

A questionnaire for feedback regarding the study “on the technical progress of Conformity of Production (CoP) for replacement silencing system as a separate technical unit”, has been created, in order to collect input with regard to various aspects of CoP checking procedures for replacement silencing systems of M1 and N1 vehicles.

EMISIA participates in a consortium lead by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki to carry out the MILE21 project "More Information Less Emissions - Empowering consumers for a greener 21st century" funded by the LIFE 2017 tool. More information can be found here.

EMISIA has undertaken a new project entitled "Technical support for the review obligations under Regulation (EU) 2016/1628 (NRMM)" under the sponsorship of the European Commission, DG GROW.

Emisia participated in a workshop organised in Urumqi, China, 29-30 August. The main objective of the event was to develop a COPERT Urumqi city pilot project for the reduction of greenhouse gas and air pollutant emissions.

EMISIA has undertaken a new project entitled "EU-China Climate Expert Dialogue on Climate Policy and Long-term Greenhouse Emission Scenarios" under the sponsorship of the Policy Support Facility of the EU Partnership Instrument. More information can be found here.

EMISIA has undertaken a new project entitled “Study on the technical progress of Conformity of Production for replacement silencing system as a separate technical unit”. The study will be performed in 2018-2019. More information can be found here.

EMISIA participated in the meeting of the H2020 TF1 group on ethanol E20/25 petrol fuel. EMISIA presented the final outcomes and conclusions of the project on E20/25 material compatibility, the technology potential on the level of preparedness of the EU market to adopt E20/25 usage, and a cost break down and effectiveness analysis, with regard to both the fuel logistic chain and the vehicle industry. The

EMISIA has undertaken a new project entitled "Provision of System Maintenance Service for the PEMS IT System and PEMS Inventory System". The study will last 12 months. More information can be found here.
