The Horizon article ‘Why raising the alcohol content of Europe’s fuels could reduce carbon emissions’ is now online. The article is based on research commissioned by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) looking at the costs and benefits of introducing a fuel containing 20% bioethanol. Emisia has contributed to this study by assessing the fuel distribution system and vehicle compatibility of higher ethanol blends. The detailed reports are downloadable here.
